The Nikon D3300 was my first camera

Writing, singing, and photography are my forms of artistic expression in varying degrees: my love for writing has come with slow progress towards mastery; my singing was only formal during my early teenage years (I sang Soprano and at some point had dreams of singing in a rich baritone); and although I once cleared my bank account in a haste to launch a career in photography, the same career ended in haste when my brother, upon noticing that I had abandoned my Nikon D3300 gave it out for very good reasons.

I was going through amateurish photos that I have taken in various places over the years, and they seemed to construct memories of rather random, but impressionable encounters. I may not be as good a photographer as my good friend Excel Chukwu, but I hope you like them. The sixteen photographs that follow were taken at various places I have visited over the years. They are my story, ut above all, they are a story of dignity and beauty that persevere.

All but 2 of these photos were shot on my phone.

I suspect that these photos are not remarkable as art. I can already spot a few areas in which I will need to grow. First, I’ll have to learn more about exposure, and composition. Nonetheless, these shortcomings are exactly what one will expect from ‘random impressionable encounters’ that I hope will last a lifetime.

NB. I am grateful to PN for helping order the photos. That was by far the hardest part.
